An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. I love to bring out the personality and spirit of a person 'from heart to art.' Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul. Painting the still life in the quiet solitude of my studio allows me to contemplate carefully the play of light across form. Enjoy!
